I'm not a fan of hitting loose when out-boarded 3 to 1, but what else are we going to do? We have little to lose by keeping tension in the position and trying to make Stick perform on every roll. Making the 9pt isn't without risk, since it leaves White with his full roll to play and creates a bunch stripped points that will become blots anyway. No reason to play kick the can here. Hit him and let's make something happen.
