I compared to a reference position. Give white the 5,6,7,8 points with two spares on the 6 point. 3 on midpoint and 2 on 24. Blue has starting position. That is a borderline take/pass for money.

The given position is worse for white in that the bar point is not yet made but he is poised to do so. It is better in that he has an advanced anchor. That about balances I think. It is worse for white in that blue has made the 3 point and brought a checker down giving some structure and a competitive race. Also the match score argues a little against the cube.

So it has to be a take. I would double but think it is close
