There are only two plausible plays here:

4/2*/1* and 6/4, 8/7. I think two on the bar here thus stripping white of any good plays on his side of the board barring doubles, and then only a few are good, is better. Even if you get hit on the ace point and come in and get an anchor, the game is still up for grabs, with I think you having the better of it especially if it is and advanced anchor.
