Making the 3pt is safe, but doesn't accomplish much. We're so far behind that it must be worth the extra shots to make a point we really want. So, 11/5 with the 6; then what? 9/7 leaves 15 shots; 6/4 leaves 14 shots and a second blot. In the long run, we prefer the 4pt, since we'd like to attack. In the short run, we don't have enough material to attack with, and maybe the bar point contains White's checker until we do. I'm not sure what the best 2 is, but I went with 9/7.
