i want to understand something..

why cube position make this difference?

my idea is that if Kit has the cube he has a recube chance so i should play safe for dont give him recube chance and 16-12 must be better than normal (.100) but here rollout says it is just .020 better than pick pass

what is i dont understand about cube positioning play?
