I think I'd pay now. If White gets the 16 from the bar you've got 10 return hits plus plus dbl coverage of his outfield if you enter and lift the blot on your 9-point. On White's other 34 numbers, you'll have 26 covers for the 7-point. I think this is better than trying to close the 3 with just one spare in the outfield.
