I POH because walking a prime is a lot harder when you have only 13 checkers to work with instead of 15. Even if he does roll the joker 16, the game isn't over if you re-enter immediately, and you have a few return jokers yourself. This isn't equivalent to a 17 to 1 joker you might leave later, because that one might be closer to fatal for you, and you might have pooched your distribution too.

Regarding the ace-x, blank, 6-x parlay...again, you have some counterplay after it if the bad thing happens now. Later, you may not.
