As Matt mentions what I liked about b-14 is that it really isn't giving up on winning. Blue gets a double shot after the 18 rolls where white can't get by the midpoint. And, since these are direct shots, blue has a chance to hit and cover. b-14 played about like I thought it did. What I missed was how often the immediate hit wins. I still don't understand why that play is as strong as it is when white misses.
