Pay now or later... You are supposed to pay now if opponents position is likely to improve in the next few rolls. White's position is already rather good, and there won't be a MAJOR improvement on white's next roll, after which the potential hit will come. I want one more chance of clearing the 9 safely, 6/4 6/2.
