LV Finals Play #1

In Response To: LV Finals Play #1 (Matt Cohn-Geier)

I'd play 3/off 2/1*. Same number of shots as with the alternative 3/2, but after 3/2 you'd most likely leave a last shot next roll, whereas with 2/1* you will most likely not. Feels like I'm missing something with the possible backgammon here?
