I would double this. I'm a little surprised if this isn't a technical double.
I believe that it is correct for Blue to leave an indirect shot next turn on many rolls. The double needs to be understood in light of this. In addition to the large doublet market losers, you may lose your market when white misses the blot you leave. You need to ask how badly you lose your market in this scenario. When you have a bare double out when white misses, you probably want to wait with the double. Your lead in the race should give you a significant market loss when missed.
The other side of the equation is the sequences when you would be better off if the cube was still centered. White has a few large doubles which may cause this to happen. More importantly, when white hits a shot, blue would be better with a centered cube. In this position, after being hit blue will have a double shot from the bar to turn the game around (other than when hit with 3-3). So, the loss from being hit is less than if white had a solid board. Lastly, there's a few nasty rolls like 4-2 which cause immediate problems.
In summary, when you are likely to leave a shot, think about the gain when the shot is missed and the loss when it is hit. I would double this due to your race lead and the blots in white's board.
