That is an emphatic NO. He should not wasted pips, you will waste a roll pointing on him with low numbers and the half anchor will almost be as good as an anchor at producing shots, so he should not resign himself to getting gammoned and depend on a shot to save him.

I'm very unclear as to what your play is the way you answered Neil's question.
