I guess Hugh Sconyers must have used an AUBKus to beat Bob Koca. Bob talked about winning the ABT all year, and he almost did it. I have never seen such optimism from one guy.

Nice going Mr. Koca, there is a new country on the ABT map called the UBK.

Way to go Neil, once again the Michigan winner wins the ABT, and a couple of Masters events. You are truly as good as all the hype would indicate.

I feel like I hit a hurdle while I was leading the race and fell flat on my face. I got up and finished but 4 guys passed me, (at least).

Also congratulations on continued success from the very tough Richard Munitz, two time winner Tim Mabee, and a player who started the year in the intermediate division, then moved up to cash in two Open ABT events, Chris Knapp. Matt Cohn Geir has also proved to be an excellent player over the board, in addition to being a sharp analyst here. He just ran into Dana Nazarian in LA and that usually hurts! Sconyers, Sax, Glass, Wiggins, Wagner, and two time conso champ George Matthews... what a field!

Some of the best players in Europe tend to disrespect American backgammon, but they would find it very difficult to come to the USA and win even one ABT event, trust me. Bring it on, Europe!
