I couldn't agree more. I think this is your biggest problem and when I saw your posting I thought to myself "I clearly pass if Neil's prime is from his 4pt to his 1pt [it's probably too good] but being so high, from the 3pt to the 6pt, makes for a rough bearoff even though the board is the same strength".

It should be noted if White is hit now along the way he may also be able to leave a checker behind that 4 prime and hope for another shot, esp. if he dances a time or two to maintain what little timing he'd likely have left.
