OTB I spent about 3 min on this looking at all possibilities, afterwhich I still had almost 19 of my given 26 minutes left on the clock. I just couldn't find 25% for myself here. Even if I hit, there's the open 6 pt and I am rather screwed in the race if he gets by me and unless he hits with a double blotting set of 6's I am in sad shape if hit. I passed.

The Crawford game went slightly better for me. Mark put on a sad display starting by dancing twice on my 2 pt board and then putting up little dice resistance as I closed out 3 checkers. The dancing continued as I bore off. Finally with two in and one on the roof, he danced with 11 when I had three on the ace and missed the 1 shot next to lose BG and match !
