Rounding errors...

I think this is the closest result so far, Richard could have had all three trophies in a 3 years span: 1st in 06, 2nd in 07, and 3rd in 08...

I lost to Frank Talbot, (Neil came in third that year), by less than one point when he won but it was something like 0.7 points difference. Art Benjamin won once and came in second by decimal points another year, I think.

Richard is extra tough, but he didn't go to as many events this year. Bob did a nice job in LA, I heard he was ahead in the first match of the finals, but then I heard that Hugh won. Hugh Sconyers is a top 10 level player in my opinion, I knew my 2.5-1 bet was in trouble when he beat Peter Wagner in the undefeated finals. Bob would have had a better chance against Peter for sure. Hugh and Peter were teammates in the pro-am in Vegas a couple of times, but Hugh is definitely the pro.
