Rounding errors...

I would like to add that Richard Munitz should receive an award for sportsmanship based on his response here to rounding errors. He is right, that there are many inequities in the ABT system, but it has been adjusted and nobody has had any better ideas.
I still maintain that it is NOT worth twice as much to win the tournament as it is to have taken second place... But who cares what I think?
Surely Bob worked hard enough in LA, having to play late and early to have earned MORE than half the points that Hugh did. Also, if he had won the first match, and THEN lost... He would have received the same # of points for even MORE work.
I don't have a better way however, but there isn't such a huge gap in points in NASCAR racing between first and seoond places, for instance.
Regardless, another GREAT ABT race, Bill Davis. Thank you so much for your genius insight and innovative thinking that invented the American Backgammon Tour!
