The way I look at it is that all three plays are equal according to "best play" as decided by a supernatural bot.

If you are playing a match that it is important to you that you win as much as possible, then I suggest making the play that gives you positions that you feel most comfortable playing.

On the other hand, as a beginner you want to improve as much as possible. As Robertie has said, the best way to learn how to play complicated positions is to actually play complicated positions. Something to think about in your more casual matches.
