I have a much stronger feeling about this one than the double 4s where I could go either way. I hit here & make the bar. It's definitely not too early. White will have a tough time shuffling its checker(s) around the board and having to kill off more pips/checkers behind your anchors. You couldn't give a shit less if you get hit, not like you're going to stay out much! Can't hurt your timing, but can help you in going forward.
