Inner board points are better than outer board points? What's that spare waiting around for anyway? You're in a type of phantom backgame for now since I don't rate to close my 5 pt. any time soon (or the ace or deuce) you're not really scared of being hit. When you cover a slotted bar point you have to break your mid (or your 8 pt, blah), to cover the slotted 4 pt. you have a spare on your 9. Just some ideas..haven't looked at it that hard.
