I wasn't speaking of me rolling great, the player playing the backgame can always roll poorly is what comes to mind first. Does he really want double hit + fan and then want to take? (or hit + fan then I'll pick up the other checker) Does he want to roll double 3s next turn regardless of what happens? It's the sequence that can put backgames in the shitter.
