Patrick Gibson is the state of the art in tournament directors. He didn't get complete information from both players... and he HAS bronstein clocks! However because the tournament has to be done by 10 pm then he chooses NOT to use the time lapse, or delay feature that he uses on his weekend long ABT events.

I had asked how much time was going back on the clocks, and MFIC Pat felt the need to shush me by saying that he could handle this situation without my help... then repeated that admonition when I stammered: "But, but"...

So the next week I sent him an email telling him he screwed up and after having already talked to Norm on the phone, he realized his mistake. Pat is getting older and less tolerant, but so what? So am I!
