I agree Patrick is one of the best directors, if not the best.

He is requisitely firm, but fair. He will listen to input from all, and act accordingly. As an example, this year's vote to change the finals format in his tourneys.

Bronstein clocks rarely impact a game, I've played quite a number of matches with them and no one has ever come close to running out of time -- except UBK who accepts it as a challenge not to 'waste' any time by having a bunch left at the end of a match.

The clocks also solve many other issues of play. No fast rolls, no argument over what the roll was, etc. It is a much better way to play. It is coming. Get ready for it.
