This question is almost too in depth. While I know the answer (read my answer) for any position if you give me cards, I can't make a blanket statement about what range of hands you should be calling with for many reasons. First off the shorter your stack (the less time you have to hit a hand) the more you may want to gamble. I've made what I find as 'brilliant calls' with hands as ugly as TJ suited when someone has already pushed only to be berated by the entire table on what a bad play it was. There are too many parts of the equation to make a lump sum answer. You have to first put the guy who moved all in on a range of hands, which is tough in itself. Then you have to see how many people are after you who still might pick up a hand. After that you have to compare your chip stack to everyone's chip stack, to the odds you're getting on your money to the cards in your hand to how big the blinds are to to to... get where I'm going? You give me a specific hand in a specific seat I can give you an answer...but no forumula is going to help you here.
