Clocking

JASON: further, I suspect Ray/Joe would have had the same problem without a clock; an erroneous recorded score caused the problem, not the clock; plus there were underlying bad feelings from the previous event
RAY: Actually I don't think this is true. There was no animosity during our match before this situation arised. He was picking up the dice before I hit my clock in a bearoff and I had to ask him to stop that 3 times, but he said he didn't hear me the first two. In the bearoff, it doesn't matter anyway because those plays never take over 12 seconds delay... So I said I don't know why I said anything, it has no effect on the time anyway... and we continued.
I had originally chastised NORM on the Tuesday night in question, telling him he allowed himself to be taken advantage of. Patrick didn't allow me to add my 2 cents to that dispute which was his right. I was away playing Steve Sax during some of that match, and it looks like Joe made a bigger effort to be fair than I thought. I know he spent 20 minutes smoothing things over with Norm after our match concluded, so he cares about his image it seems.
The BS of calling me a liar is simple misdirection to deflect the blame elsewhere, imho.
During our match I decided in the last game that win or lose I would apologize, and I did. Joe didn't, and that is the end of the matter as far as I am concerned.
