Carolina Invitational -- Hotel cutoff date is Wednesday!

I booked my room today. Bummer that Paul Weaver won't be there though. Anyone know if the hotel is near to the airport?

I am flying over on Wednesday but didn't make a reservation until Thursday. Would it be smart to rent a car, or to take public transportation like a shuttle from the airport. I'll probably get a cheap hotel on Wednesday night and get a rental car the next day unless it is clearly better to do something else. Anyone who knows this particular drill please advise.

I also booked a two bed room, having found that a king tends to be less comfy. Normally I don't have a roommate, but that is negotiable since it sounds inevitable that some people will miss this deadline for room reservations...
