30-35 years ago there was a huge BG boom in this country. Unfortunatey I was just a bit too young and came onto the scene at the tail end of it or I might have made a few million at BG or..maybe just maybe, I'd have beaten the wrong dude and ended up unpaid and with a bullet in my head. Fortunately, lots of BG and bridge players are traders and a few from BG realized that I might be smart and got me into trading so I can now retire when ever I want and live where ever I want and just play BG.

..anyhow... a couple decades ago..some world class dude was interveied in some BG mag and stated that ,,,slow play has been responsible for more players leaving this game than anything else.

Slow play...OMFG Peoria..sked to start at 1 PM. Starts as is normal at 1:20 and dinner from 5-7. At dinner break I am heading out with Stick and others and Stick is bitching that he's only played 1 match...OMFG as I played rd 1 and won a long match and rd 2 and lost a long match and am 40% done with my conso match.
