what's to love about white's position? nothing. a blot and one up are bad enough, but otherwise his position is stacked and striped. this tends to lead me to think of some less than voluntary backgames I've played before --- with little success. d/p looks right to me. score doesn't look to be a big issue. if anything would argue for a take, but p would still win in my book.
