'Joe continued to plead with Pat, and I went to the bathroom... The 6 I rolled on the right side of the board, managed to make it to the LEFT side of the board in the interim. Now Joe's die and cup were next to it. I am quite sure that the die didn't levitate over there, and I was ruled against when I stated truthfully that I had rolled a 6 fairly and deserved to get it.'

I have a big problem here Ray. You say you went to the bathroom and I continued to plead with Pat. When you came back your rolled 6 was on my side of the board. Why would you roll when the previous position was still in place while I 'pleaded' with Pat. Why would I 'plead' with Pat if the position had been changed. Obviously, I would not. I asked to look at the rules. I had never read them. Everyone is entitled to due process. I wanted to make sure that centering the clock without saying I pass or completing the scoring was final. As it turned out, after reading the rules, I could have centered the clock before acting on your cube and called the director over to clear up the score. Pat asked me if my intention was to pass. I said yes. Anyone that thinks I was taking a shot does not no me well or has issues. I told no lies. I asked for a committee, when told it was not an option, I asked to see the rules. I made a mistake. I accept blame. To say I was taking a 'shot' at you is ridiculous. For you to suggest I would move your die is insulting and ludicrous.

'Joe did indicate Norm had spilled the drink, my gf was a witness among others. Joe denied that in LA, and called me a liar.

I called you a 'damned liar' when you said I had laughed about Norm losing the match. That is and was a lie. I really like Norm and I felt bad for him. I thought at the time that I had done everything properly. As it has been pointed out to me since, my non-shaking at the very end of the match was improper. Several people have pointed out instances where this has happened before without any hullabalo. It is competitive instinct to beat the clock. Mike Svobodny did the same in a match in Paris against Joel Schiff. I am not saying what I did was right, just commonly done by many players in that situation, probably without thinking much about it. I will avoid doing it again. Hopefully delays will now be used in all tournaments and it will not be an issue.

I have been playing this game for 30 years, all over the world. There are NO instances of my integrity or honesty being questioned, ever!! If I had the type of character that you portray, there would have been 'dozens' of incidences before. I challenge you to find anyone to say I have ever acted in an unethical manner at any time. On the other hand I could name many honest, ethical players that you have slandered. If you want me to I will, but I don't think you really want that.
