I'll make the 5 point because the main problem for Blue is to activate the back checkers, which I want to do next turn, and I like the protection given by the three-point board better than that given by the broken four-prime.

After Blue makes whatever point this turn, the theater of action shifts to White's side of the board. Blue has few builders aiming at desirable blocking points (5, 9, 8, 7, depending on play chosen), so Blue shouldn't hope too much for future forward improvements.
