Yeah, while White has two outside blots and a stripped outside position, and when I know my other two 4's are improving my forward position quite a bit, I'm definitely playing 24/16. One time in four White will miss; and if I stay back, White has a free shot to make the 5 and put more pressure on my back checker.

Then do I make my 4 point or my 9 point? Because tactical exchanges are looming, I make my 4 to gain the best three-point board as well as a promising 4.5-prime.
