Ray this will be my final posting on the subject, I think. In the past you have attacked and/or slandered Paul Weaver, Dennis Culpepper, Steve Sax, Dave Williams, Clarine, Kamyar Houssanian(sp?), Persians as a race and many others. I would much rather be associated with the aforementioned group than you. There is a running joke in L.A. that you are not a member of the club until Ray has gone off on you. Often your attacks have included numerous emails and threats of physical violence. The common thread is distortion of the facts. For some reason you have a need to be confrontational. I was told by many that I should just ignore anything you say, that it did not dignify a response. I probably should have followed that advice. If this had been limited to our home ground, I would have, since I think knowledge of the individuals involved would have been sufficient. But, you went on a public forum stating many things about me and my character. Now people in the backgammon community, that did not know me, might believe you. Still I hesitated, until your second rant started.

You have many good qualities about you. You are a fine backgammon player. You can be generous. You are loyal to your friends. I respect those things about you. Your need to get involved in controversies is something you need to work on. You know me for many years. You know I am not a 'shot' taker. I am not sure what is the motivation behind this but that is not my problem.

I have received numerous emails about you before and especially since this started. I could post some of the comments but I am not sure what purpose that would serve, other than to inflame this even further. Since we are from the same community and will see each other several times a year, I think whatever you think of me and I think of you is not important. Let us just say we have a poor opinion of each other and leave it at that.
