Clarine, Steve and Dennis Culpepper? All current friends of mine. I have never even had a disagreement with Culpepper, and even if I had what relevance would it or anything else have in this situation? None.
Weaver, Kamyar and Dave all initiated confrontations with me, as did you by calling me a liar (twice). There are others... Would you like an updated list? Everyone here has heard both sides of our confrontaion. How many have you entertained in the ones that you listed? Hmmm?
You are right about one thing, what other people think is not really important. We both know the actual facts and I can leave it at that with a clear conscience.
However, you seem to feel the need to continue to divert attention from the issue at hand by throwing all this other seasoning into the soup. Maybe if you cast a big enough shadow on my character then you will be left alone standing in the sunshine? Let your conscience be your guide, Joe Russel. As you so aptly noted: The common thread is distortion of the facts. Why all the misdirection?
JOE I have received numerous emails about you before and especially since this started. I could post some of the comments but I am not sure what purpose that would serve, other than to inflame this even further.
RAY: I recieved an email or two myself, as a matter of fact, depicting other "shots" wanna share? By virtue of sending YOU emails, without CCing me they have all defined themselves. I generally send copies to all affected parties myself, because I usually don't say anything behind someone's back that I won't say to their face.
My only "motivation" has been to improve the game, protect a friend of mine, and defend my reputation. This is a poor forum to use for that because apparently I am the only one who feels a need to adhere to the truth.
For years I have never known you to take any shots, until lately. I always respected your game, and still introduce you as a former world champion, (even on the day in question). Even after you unquestionably took advantage of my friend Norm Wiggins, (and were NOT confronted about it). I don't necessarily find a need to be confrontational, but if someone doesn't take responsibility for his own mistakes, then acuses me of being a liar in front of a witness who knows better, and my peers, as a prelude to cheating me out of a legal roll? You must be kidding.
Go hang with your pals Weaver, Kamyar, and Dave Williams. Birds of a feather, all.
Clarine and I will have a laugh about this when she comes up for her semi-annual hug at the next tournament.
