Me too, I always played the Najdorf when I could, even Fischer's favorite Poisoned Pawn variation. As White I would play against it, started life playing Bc4 like Fischer, grew to hate it after meeting some strong Black players who knew the latest ways to play against it (including Walter Browne who demolished me as Black by sacrificing on c3), then switched to Be2 with which I had good results. I sometimes tried Bg5 which was ultra-complicated, but I did better with Be2.
