Hitting loose is excellent when White misses, but kind of a disaster when you get hit. How bad is it to let White play??? She has 3 wayward checkers to bring home, and plenty of rolls that don't exit.

Breaking the bar to hit adds a potentially lethal 16 to her arsenal. If you get gammoned, it's Crawford, so that is worth avoiding. So, I might just try stepping out with one man and playing in with 8/5. Makes two crossovers, minimizes hits, and maximizes coverage. Maintains your 4 prime. Maybe you'll be able to hit in the outfield, in her board, or loose without having to break a point next turn...

Holding the cube it is theoretically better to avoid one shot deals... Make slightly smaller plays until you can use it efficiently. Hit loose, get missed and lose your market by a mile. Hit loose, get hit and suffer some serious consequences... Bend your knees, post lookouts and see what happens after White rolls. Flexible and patient if not aggressive, and it keeps the score in perspective.

Suppose White runs out and you miss... She has still not won the game yet. I'd play it a little quiet here.

20/15, 8/5 for maximum outfield coverage.
