thru my less than vast experience i have found that doubling this kind of position guarantees that somebody will win 4 points. the only pluses for this position are the selection of points (this being weakest of 3 point bgs) and the white checker on the 1 point. maybe i should double neil here, but not vice versa as blue runs into forced plays while white just builds a board and recirculates the rear checker.
