I am in complete agreement with Stick here. .06 is far too much to give up on the opening roll. Also the opp really can't make a serious missplay with his 13 hitters. He likely won't missplay 11 and he may even counterslot his 5 pt when he misses to dupe 4's. My point is not to expect much to be given right back in return.
It may be more complicated to build 52 then to split it, and you don't risk having the tyro joker you with point makers, but unless he fails to slot his aces in reply, you may be better off just splitting 52 which also can cause the opp to missplay a few responses.
I would slot 52 vs nobody...ever ! .. neilkaz ..
