Early cube

Double/Take for me.

That white checker on the 9 point does not get home so easily, and when it does, the position is usually rather fragile. So even when things go poorly for blue, white has quite a bit of work to do. Of course white has some really good sequences too.

Anyway, it looks to me like only 8 of 36 rolls do not result in a hit or other clear improvement in blue's position. None of those 8 are disasters, and most of them are decent racing numbers. Only the potential loss of initiative from a miss seems to be the problem here. So it looks to me like blue's winning chances are better than they appear at first glance, decent gammon chances that are worth more than usual and a bunch of market losers, some big, some small all add up to a cube.

And white may chicken out from the gammon/prime risk and pass, so I'm sending this regardless.
