I'm undecided on NYC yet, Charlotte for sure. I don't plan any further than that.

NYC Drawbacks

  • This is not a clocked tournament. I am on the fence for many reasons about whether I want to go or not, regardless of my decision I can assure you that I would go without question if it was clocked.

  • Hotel is the more expensive than any other stop on the ABT. NYC's fault of course.

  • If I drive I have to pay roughly $30/day to park my car there? LoL - it says "other parking facilities nearby". What does that mean? Other facilities where I have to pay also, more or less? What's nearby? I'm not going to hunt this shit down myself...why not put it on the web site if you know of other places.

  • I have not done an in depth comparison so if this is wrong someone can scream at me, but it sure feels like this tournament is raked more than some of the others, esp. the side pools being raked instead of a 100% return. A quick check shows NC to be 100% return on the side pools, Pittsubrgh also. [talking about only the open and the biggest Jackpot event]

Reason I'm going to NC for sure, the Open and Queen City Cup are "Clocks Allowed" events meaning if either player requests a clock a clock is used.
