Don't remember what Walter recommended here but I'd play safe 11/6 14/13. Hitting loose leaves 23 hits, 5 of which also cover and 4 that hit two checkers. Getting g'd is no worse than a single loss ATS of course but there's also no gammon bonus when things go well for you. Magriel's safe/bold criteria suggest a safe play and that's how I'd play the position.
