ethics question, Part II

Current break rules (on both sides of the Atlantic) are not specific to match lengths.
I’m of the opinion that if you sit down to play a match it is as much a test of stamina and continued concentration as the playing of the game of backgammon. However I do realize that this would be considered an overly draconian view by many hence:
I see no reason for any break being allowed in a 5 pointer (for which I usually budget upwards of 45 minutes total playing time.)
For a 7 pointer and 9 pointer I would like to see each player allowed to declare a 5 minute break.
For an 11 and 13 pointer I would like to see each player allowed to declare 2 x 5 minute break.
For a 15 and 17 pointer I would like to see each player allowed to declare 2 x 10 minute break.
For a 19 and 21 pointer I would like to see each player allowed to declare 3 x 10 minute break.
For a 23 and 25 pointer I would like to see each player allowed to declare 4 x 10 minute break.
That or just scrap the playing of long long matches and use the “best of 7 pointers” system with a 15 minute break allowed between matches.
