It all boils down to the fact that you're trying to gain an advantage you didn't have when the match started.

I heard about the incident you're speaking of but weren't they on a 'break', such as a short break, and not a dinner break. Dinner break on ABT events lasts anywhere from 2 to 2 1/2 hours. I think there's a big difference in being on a short break and discussing something than being on leave basically.

Also, as you stated Rules are there to regulate how we play and to ensure that nobody gains an unfair advantage. If you try to enforce this in the US during dinner breaks the only people gaining the 'unfair advantage' are the dishonest players and they could give a shit anyway.

My ideal solution would be to clock the damn events and have a set time that all matches would likely be over by and everyone goes to dinner, nobody is in the middle of a match!
