As I understand it there was a redraw of the 32 remaining players who were left after dinner. I trust that drawsheet was ready to go and posted by 8 PM so players could start right away. One would assume that the buybacks had to play down to 32 prior to leaving for dinner. Playing two 13 point matches clocked starting at 8 pm would be no problem, and if slow matches were monitored and clocked there should also be little trouble.

Anyhow, with the final 8 starting Saturday morning at 11 am, it is hard to see why there were so many unpleasant conflicts noting that only two matches were needed to be played in the main Saturday and this should have freed players up.

Once again, if the LC were progressive, I think there'd have been less of a time pressure issue leading into Sunday.
