Both of these players had a fair amount of time left so I don't believe time considerations influenced the quick actions in any way. As I recall, Player 1, who had the big lead and who recubed, had 8 or 9 minutes left. Player 2, who dropped this falling behind 2-8/9 Crawford had 14-15 minutes left.
