I saw MCG get very low in a couple of matches, but seems as though he is from the UBK school of using most every second.

How low is very low?

I don't believe that there is some perfectly efficient way to use your time, but I am aware of the clock and generally don't play faster or slower than I would without a clock. I can make almost any move in 12 seconds if I get into time pressure, so it doesn't really scare me to have a minute or 30 seconds left on my clock.

OTOH I should probably speed up my play in general; I'll work on this eventually sometime this year or next.
