In Response To: Clocks in Charlotte (Barry Silliman)

I posted once in the past that intermediates should be clocked as well as the open players. My reasons

* Keep the game uniform amongst all players above the novice level. * Those intermediates ready to move up to open will already be used to having a clock in play. * Even though intermediates play less points, it is still possible to have someone hold up the bracket. *** Perhaps the intermediate would have their time relaxed a bit more than open to get them accostumed to the clock.
