I've seen these position-types before and indeed my G threat is very real and they come from hitting and blitzing 1 checker sometimes or more likely when White has to split his anchor either after being hit or not from being hit.

OTB I rolled 64 and played 6/2 21/15 which Snowie agrees with and Rod rolled 62 and Snowie agrees that his 18/10x was best. I then rolled 54 hitting two checkers and the blitz was on.

After the match Rod asked me how he played, and I said pretty good, except that I didn't like his take here. He did play his checkers quite well, noting that he had a lot of awful rolls to play.
