Ed played 8/3 6/5 OTB. During/after the game, several WC players (somewhere between around 5 and 10, whose names I can't all remember) were looking at this position and discussing the merits of 18/13 18/17 vs. 8/3 6/5. The clearly correct play is 18/17 8/3, which no one saw, and makes sense, once you look at it.
