I don't care for the idea of playing three matches simultaneously as it creates all sorts of logistical nightmares. However, how about just playing the first two matches simultaneously with two separate clocks? Not only does this enable one player to be making his move on one board while his opponent is moving on the other board, but if you play too slowly, the penalty is having both of your clocks counting down simultaneously. That really ought to keep things moving!
