Rollout shows big difference

Thanks first of all for telling me about my cube blunder, I was not aware that it was this big.
The checker play rollout shows a remarkably big difference between 3/2 und 9/8, which I couldn't understand. Thanks to Rich's posting, I now understand that it is D/T if white enters and 3/2 allows me to play 44 and 22 much better. And also, if white enters and I roll a non-hitting number, I can keep the 9 point and open up the 8 point, so I give him less rolls that leap.
The score (after 5 games) is: Paul_William 1, You 5 (match to 9 points)
Move number 42: You to play 11
Paul_William 65
You 80 Position ID: u9sBACA7dzYAAA Match ID: cIkkARAAKAAA
• You moves 9/8 6/4 5/4
Alert: doubtful move ( -0,041)
